Goodnight friends! Still mostly bright and even warmer, peaks of 24°c in the early afternoon, though far more temperamental. A towering lead-coloured sheet of cloud from the north loomed up over the day. It weighed down the atmosphere with a sudden stuffiness as it gathered, swallowing up ragged stripes and scales of pale silver-edged cirrus and loosing several thin rattling showers. Air sweet and dry in the sun, headily sour and muggy in the shade. Dozy pigeons, slender sand-coloured moths in the wan, drooping dry grass and urgently foraging squirrels all startled into retreat by my slow progress.
A fairly benign start, woke up slow and dazed but not too uncomfortable. A few small drawing activities, more household work and set out with ambitions for a walk. But the changing pressure and damp seemed to crater my energy levels and helped spike my pain, so I retreated fairly quickly. Late afternoon and evening became difficult, a heavy gasping pressure of gravity on my chest.
