Goodnight friends! 24°c again, but the sky mostly heavier and a sullen, creased and rippled pale off-white for most of the day, the smooth, undulating tightly-pleated texture of a half-ironed shirt. Tightly damp feeling of humidity and soft even light. Splashes of rust and gold spreading among the treetops. Squirrels becoming bolder, lmoving in long fluid bouncing leaps among fallen acorns. Half-tuned radio whistle and squeal of a little flock of birds clinging together to the metal cockerel and iron serifed letters of the church’s weathervane.
Slept badly, in fragmented haze between 4 and 10 am. The whole day had a blurred, compressed greyish feeling that suited the weather, though gradually I did start to feel more alert and present. A little drawing, small bits of household admin, most mostly just trying to stay relaxed and let things settle.

May we find deeper trust and connection in our important relationships today!
