Goodnight friends! A little warmer, and a deal heavier too today, the rumpled white sky lay lower, with sunlight smudged and muffled by additional layers of heavy leaden blue-grey. The grass is all pale brittle yellows and wan, smoky russets and purples. Dozens and dozens of distorted, flanged waxen knopper galls lie beneath the oak trees. Some light whispery rain after dark, releasing the stuffy pressure for a while.
Slept badly again in the squeezing humidity though not quote so rough as last night. Mostly taking things light and easy, recovering and preparing for a TTRPG het together in the evening. The group will continue to be a little scattered for a while with full sessions hard to count on, so we had a worldbuilding session this evening with a reduced complement. Some fun new ideas, and new angles and twists on our existing material.
May we share care and tenderness today!
