Goodnight friends! First sight of afternoon clouds for a few days, gauzy-edged stipples and diffuse contrail sweeps in a deeper, steelier blue sky. Reached 20°c again, just not for quite as long or so early in the day. More wild grasses rising up, tufty round white groundsel seedheads under the eaves of the hedges. Faint breeze stirs canopies above the black pavement and makes dappled shadows throb and sway, as if the flank of some great blotched beast is slowly rising and falling.
Feeling the cold receding already, sinuses clearing gradually over the day. My throat also tickled more than scratched or burned, even with the main activity of the day being my online TTRPG session, where as well as talking through character creation for several hours I ended up improvising an introductory off-the-cuff villain monologue. Maybe the slight gravelliness even helped the mood. I think everyone had fun, even though May is so busy for us all we won’t playing again for a little while.
May we find collaboration and share inspiration today!
