Goodnight friends! A flat, sun-washed pale blue sky as morning clouds steam away and temperatures keep rising, up to 22°c in the afternoon. Swathes of bluebells misting the grass and packed between gravestones. Straw-coloured plume moths with many-spurred legs and stiff T wings unravelling at the tips into thready tatters perch at the tips of grass stems, shiny black sap-sucking beetles smaller than rice grains cluster around the stamens of celandines like drinkers crowding an open bar.

A slight feverish feeling and swollen throat, head overstuffed, and occasional bouts of coughs and sneezes. Inarguably feels like a cold now, which I’m grateful for because it’s feeling less and less like another relapse on the heels of the last, and because it seems so far like a mild one. I mostly loafed around today, feeling drained and uncomfortable in my skin. A little writing and loose prep for a session zero meetup with my TTRPG group, moved online to avoid spreading any germs.
May we find care and community in our lives today!
