Goodnight friends! Still very summery warmth, up to 23°c in the afternoon, and arouns midday I felt a faint palpable pressure of heat on my nape and back. Somewhat paler less empty blue sky, speldidly isolated, smoothly dome-topped clouds below a high, tattered translucent cirrus layer. Wet, cool dewy nights lead to galleries of sulphurous yellow and pale creamy mushrooms bursting up on sun-dappled morning lawns. Sometimes they lie carved into chunks by mowers as damp followed by sun has lead to a rapid explosion of growth, mingled scents of bruised fungus and the bright green of grassy distress.
Another bleary slow start leading by degrees into a fairly energetic day, though I had a little more fatigue and increasing cognitive difficulty over the day – I think yesterday’s household tasks ended up being a bit too much, and I ran out of steam completely by early evening. Managed a few stretches as well as a walk, and some small bits of drawing too.
May we find a sense of purpose and enthusiasm in our lives today!
