Goodnight friends! Warming up today, a cool start but up to a steady 13°c or so by the afternoon. Clouds lumbering rather than flitting across the sky, moved slowly even by a fairly stiff buffeting breeze, ice-floe cumulus with heavy grey crowns. More speedwells, purple-striped and smaller than a little fingernail, among the grass. Above them meadow buttercups multiply, firefly splashes of floating colour on their long stalks. My first fox sighting in a long while, slinking along beneath the shade of the ivy, sinuous and ragged in streaky tatters of orange and umber and rufous brown.
Slept poorly, more rain overnight and the lingering buzz of the TTRPG group. Mostly resting today and beginning to write up the results of yesterday’s worldbuilding game in short pecking bursts. Stretched my limbs a little with a longer walk, which left me feeling droopy and a little drained rather than aching and shattered.
May we find a renewed sense of wonder amd awe at the world around us today!
