Goodnight friends! A little warmer but much gloomier, with clouds only partly wrung out after overnight drizzle, scattered but still grey amd foreboding. Long shadows of linden trees pulsed into sharp black life and dissolved again as wind batted humped, heavy piles of cumulus back and forth. Around midday the feeling of cool pressure rose to a crescendo and the first spate of rain began, returning in fits and starts over and over, seeming heavier each time, even turning to hail later in the day. In between there were dreamlike, hazy floating vistas of daek and light, sunlit treetops turning green again basalt bulwarks of dark cloud.

First session of GMing the roleplay group seemed to go pretty well, I had to lay around exhausted for the evening afterwards but that’s about what I expected. We played a worldbuilding game to start, and I think we all had a good time. So many exciting ideas bouncing off each other, corrupt resort towns and pig-sized silk moths and hanging cities coalescing into our shared imaginary world. This will likely go a fair bit slower than my former group, since we’re trying fortnightly for now, but with longer sessions and much more collaborative play.

May we listen with openness and curiosity and learn from each other today!
