Goodnight friends! Uniformly heavy streaky grey skies, much less mobile only slivers of silver sunlight sneaking through the cracks. The burgeoning ornamental cherry blossoms were like a second more charming layer of cloud, foamy piles of pale pink flowers floating above mossy graves. Managed to miss the rain by taking a short walk early in the day, but there were hours on hours of thin patchy drizzle from midday to past midnight, questing snails scattered across dark wet pavements.
Course corrected a little on sleep, and didn’t wake feeling too bad, though it was a bit of an early, painful wakeup as the clouds darkened and my joints pulsed with cold needling aches. After getting myself together I did a little project admin and slowly prepped myself for a cautious return to judo, which went predictably slow but about as well as I could have expected.
May we find ways to express, share and process our emotions today!
