Goodnight friends! About 16°c for most of the day again, gloomy and drizzly in the morning but starting to feel brighter and more open by degrees after lunch. Thin rain didn’t leave many lingering droplets except for gleaming mercury blobs, hanging as if simply refusing to fall, suspended in the barely visible gossamer tents of spiderwebs. A slight breeze, not harsh but still weighted with damp chill and mouldering taste of decaying leaves.
Grating, glass-shard feeling of joint pain continuing, disrupting my thoughts and sapping my stamina. Not getting worse for now, but a constant addition to the static of malaise and exhaustion. A little productivity, some thinking and writing and drawing, and taking care of some household tasks with a lot of help from friends. A leisurely evening of chatting and fast food with my girlfriend, a softly melqncholy pang as this was my last time seeing her for a few weeks as she heads off on her cruise tomorrow.
May we find a sense of renewed confidence in our ability to solve problems and discover creative solutions today!
