Goodnight friends! A few scattering wisps of cloud again, slightly cooler but not noticably so at 27°c. Heat still prickly and fierce with a slight stuffy humidity. Light still heavy and hard-edged, shadows velvety black. Crows squabbling chips of obsidian on the fitful breeze, skitter and clamour of little birds in the undergrowth and squirrels in the trees. Fuzzy, menacing green scent of nettles, pale green streamers of tiny flowers draped over their sawtooth leaves.
Preparing and packing for camp today. I was also handed a slightly last-minute assignment to print up most of the informational signage for the event, so aside from a gentle walk in the park with my girlfriend and her dog that took up a fair chunk of the day. Everything feels fairly well organised and squared away now though, so I feel prepared for the weekend.
May we find a sense of capacity, stability and self-confidnece in our lives today!
