Goodnight friends! A pale, sticky overcast start again but cleared up faster under a hard white blaze of sunlight. Briefly as high as 29°c at the peak of the afternoon, grass wan yellow and brittle, a shrill note of urgency to the scattered humming of insect calls. Gangling young squirrels moving loose and springy among tge gravestones. Blackberries swollen and warm and darkly sweet, bursting druplets sugary and sour at once, bird dropping beginning to bear the telltale purple tint of sharing in the feast.
Feeling nearly recovered to baseline I think, sleep a little fitful but improving. Morning generally sore and slow, but no big spikes of pain. Took a walk and went through a long, slow extended stretching routine to start getting reconnected to movement.
May we find patience and perseverance today!
