Goodnight friends! A somewhat dour and gloomy morning, damp blustery breeze and cold pin-prickles of potential rain coalescing on my cheek and brow. Frothy pink buddleja and rippling rhododendron petals still burgeoning in gardens, spiky sow-thistle and angular ragwort leaves flourishing beneath the hedgerows. Afternoon cleared rapidly, not getting too much warmer, only about 14°c, but so bright blue it made it seem the morning was a scheduling glitch.
Slept a bit creakily and with a few fitful wakings as the pressure shifted more overnight, dizzy, dazed feeling and heaviness behind my eyes. Teetering on the edge of being over this cold, but not knowing if I have a little infectious left and still feeling a slight congested weight on my chest meant I skipped judo. Did a bit of TTRPG stuff again, some stretches and walked a bit further than usual, though in several short bursts, to post a letter. Another nice call with a friend, this time for some birthday wishes.
May we find a sense of play and exploration in our lives today!
