Goodnight friends! Around 18°c still, with a cool, whipping breeze propelling flowing and fitfully overcast skies. Didn’t walk too far again today, but still the orange and ruby hits of autumn are everywhere in the bushes and canopies, the helicoptering flash of sycamore and linden seeds catching at the corners of my eyes. A few stubborn Hubei anemones bob on the wind.

A slow, somewhat sore morning but a big improvement from yesterday. I had some misgivings about trying judo twice in one week, so I dithered about it for most of the day, monitoring maybe too closely the peaks and dips of pain as the sky brightened and grew murkier. In the end I went, with a similar determination as on Tuesday – just focus on slow technical development stuff for re-grading. I was able to get by fairly gently again, and felt like I advanced a tiny bit in my learning process, but I think I’ll want the next few days to be pretty quiet to avoid any kind of relapse.

May we find space for thoughtfulness, care and patience in our lives today!
