Goodnight friends! A little warmer again today, 22°c, and feeling a little humid to start. Uniformly overcast over the morning and early afternoon before clearing later on to a soft duck egg blue, washed by the sleepy gold of the slow-setting sun. Extraordinary tall pinkish antenna stems emerge surreally from the spiky mats of reflexed stonecrop, bearing wide clusters of lemon yellow hexafoil flowers. Pale peapods swell and shake on laburnum trees, bumblebees dance sleepily among the rumpled blackberry flowers.
Improving still much more confident in my mobility, though stamina drains away fairly quickly and I’m often losing track of events or myself. After a few hours awake my brain already felt run-down, like a yellowing paperback, dog-eared on too many pages, glue beginning to fail. Had some nice rambling chats with friends, did a little bit of loose, inconsequential drawing, just.keeping my hand loose as much as I can.
May we find ways ro uplift and support each other today!
