Goodnight friends! Much hotter, up to 22°c in the full-throated white blaze of afternoon, a return of open, glassily clear blue skies. Burbling chatter of songbirds amd ugly drone of mowers, hushed by the thick sedative warmth and occasional soft buffets of breeze carrying the muddled sweetness of flowers and cut grass. A few bristly wild grass stems already reaching my hip.
Poor sleep and a dizzy, woozy start. Gradually rolled into a little housework, punctuated by a long slow walk in the afternoon sun. After that I got back to a little TTRPG writing, and managed a few stretches before dinner before my energy collapsed a bit for the evening – not too surprising, a fairly full day, relatively speaking, especially dragging my insomniac head behind me.
