Goodnight friends! Another long day of rain and faint damp haze, cooler at around 17°c and less humid feeling for it but with almost continual drizzle, sometimes swelling or ebbing a little but only pausing for a few half-hour stretches in the afternoon. Seemingly the moment the grey sky took a breath big dark thrumming bumblebees swarmed the dripping buddleja, iridescent green flies lapped at droplets. Mud tracked across dark paving slabs cratered by the neat circular impressions of raindrops.
Still feeling swollen and trampled with fatigue, resting for a lot of the day. Sleep was really bad, around 4 fragmented hours, but after gradually coming up out of the sticky mire of grogginess I managed a short walk, and later on a little drawing.
