Goodnight friends! 13°c still, yet another very different feeling to the day. Bright and fresh at first, a fox’s wedding day with very fine, light rain from a half-bright sky. Grass pollen leaves broad powdery chalk dust streaks on my trousers. Weather and time have blanched the pale cuckooflowers to white, and the pungent sickly sweetness of massed hawthorn blossom has faded, petals turning pinkish then to crumpled parchment. Already the withered buds have the telltale star-shaped calyx scar that will mark the crown of the berries. Sky darkened as late afternoon drifted into evening, murky purple clouds gathering up and a tentative snare rattle of heavier rain started up.

Sore, disturbed sleep again, low pressure and a slow bleed-off of wired, tense energy from hosting the TTRPG session. I felt the expenditure of energy as well as the grogginess wash over me today, not a big crash but very little stamina, needed to take things very slow and easy.

May we find a sense of stability and continuity in our lives today!
