Goodnight friends! A bright start fell into a dappled afternoon of shifting layers, heavy soot plumes and sliding glaciers of cloud, blue sky veiled in buffeted wavering layers. Mowers are beginning their cruel work, but ad hoc littlw meadows of celandine and buttercups and forget-me-nots flourish in the lee of trees and posts, beautiful speckles of yellow and pink and blue in the grass. Late afternoon and lengthening evening brought clearer more peaceful light, the stolid grey Scots pines streaked with apricot against eggshell smooth skies.
A mildly swollen, ill feeling of exhaustion dogged me on and off, a tender feverish sense of mild overexertion still leaning over my shoulder. I let it steer mostly, trying to listen to my body and allow recovery the space it needs.
May we make and hold space to acknowledge, accept and feel our emotions and sensations without judgement today!
