Goodnight friends! Warm and grey again, the air thick and prickly feeling, around 14°c. Swollen, bruised looking sky swelling over the morning and then slowly collapsing into hours of fine, silent drizzle. Peeping of tits tucked safe among now-leafy hedges sounded blunted and hushed, a loose polka-dotting of fallen cherry petals strewn everywhere pale as if the rain were wahing their colour out. As afternoon shaded into early evening the clouds sagged and separated, the last slanted rays of full golden light honeying orange bricks as clouds turned from slate to cream, and then gradually to lavender and peach.
Woken by joint pain after poor sleep, a sedated, meandering feeling clinging to me and continuing through the day. Little bits of writing, fun batting little bits of inspiration back and forth with the TTRPG group. A fair length walk, for me, but mostly long periods of recovery from activity, or eating, or doing basic self-maintanence tasks. Pain spiked and eased a few times, always seething away in the background.
May we find resilience and renewed confidence in our capabilities today!
