Goodnight friends! A little cooler today in general early highs were around the stubborn s6°c mark, but an afternoon and early evening of streaky cloud cover and fresh damp wind dropped the temperature down to around 21°c for a good while. Trefoils and speedwells in cropped-short grass, willowherbs starting to go to seedz their seedpods splitting into curled ribbons stretching the downy wings of seeds between them.
Very glad for my days of recovery, slept better and felt fairly fresh this morning – and needed it, because my girlfriend and I are going on some weekend outings to DinoCon, a big popular science and paleoart event nearby. Went to some talks and a workshop about paleontology and animal reconstruction as well as a few circuits around the art show. My wheelchair helps a lot on excursions like this, but I was still flagging after a few hours. Fortunately the programming and the space are less hectic than some others I’ve been to, and I was mostly able to pace things out okay.
