Goodnight friends! Second and last day at the dinosaur convention. A much shorter and more conpressed outing, since the programme wasn’t as long and my energy was really flagging – not much time or stamina for wandering around or for photos. Several really interesting science talks on preserving ancient DNA, reconstucting the lifestyles of spinosaurid dinosaurs, etc. The weather cooled down a little again, though the higher humidity and heavy, pale grey overcast skies made the day often feel over-warm and stuffy. There was light pattering rain overnight and occasionally in brief spates during the day, which granted a little temporary relief but set off a grinding, hot and cold ache in ny bones and joints.
