Goodnight friends! A mostly fairly murky sky with brief fluttering patches of sharp sunlight, summer sun still bright enough to spread a broad wash of soft light even through the cloud cover. Scattered drizzle throughout the day, around 16°c made cool by inconstant blustering wind. The pocket meadows among the gravestones are tall and lush, perennial ryegrass, wall barley, yellow oat-grass, smooth meadow-grass and more all shiver and sway like the rippling of a pond.
Sleep disrupted by pain as the rain began rolling in, and a general sense of heaviness and malaise veiled the whole day. Rested thenday away aside from a short walk, not really feeling capable of much of anything. I haven’t managed to shave since I came back from camp, so my girlfriend kindly dropped by and helped buzz the wiry scruff down to a manageable length with an electric trimmer.
May we find a sense of delight and wonder at the world arpund us today today!
