Goodnight friends! A blustery day and a cool start, but surprisingly the sky cleaned up, clouds rising and flattening into a long, flat sweep of gauze-edged scumbled white, and the sun blazed down from a broad vault of simmering pale blue. The temperature spiked back up to 19°c or so and drowsy bees hummed among the grass. Rowan trees coming into flower in fluffy cream clusters alongside brilliant pink hawthorn.
My girlfriend came over for dinner, it was nice to be able to help more and feel more present and alert, without the usual post-exercise malaise and the cold from the weekend swept away. We made a new recipe and it really worked out, which always feels like hitting the jackpot.
May we find our patience and diligence rewarded with insight and understanding today!
