Goodnight friends! About 10°c and a clinging feeling of damp chill, bright and clear for most of the day with pale golden light that struggled to heave itself up above the treetops, gradually more stark and spindly day by day. A few short overcast hours of sludgy grey, and once a fairly long rainshower, but clouds parted quickly, lightening again to pale creamy spills of popcorn fluff. Rubbery mushrooms continue their slustering cycles of urgent fruiting and swift wet decay on in pale fleshy lilacs and fawns and sooty greys, waxy and spongy and finely pleated.

Recovery continues pretty well, voice rough and congested at first, but generally easing up over the day fairly well. Slept worse though, with some rain and chill moaning winds overnight. Some small household tasks and more sustained drawing, but lethargy came over me fairly early in the day again.

May we find moments of unexpected inspiration and excitement today!
