Goodnight friends! Fairly overcast for much of the day, but when the cool, mineral-tasting breeze picked up there scudding, frothy layers of white popcorn clouds, settling and reforming into dense gloomy ramparts as soon as the wind slackened. A few spates of light hazy drizzle in the afternoon, but fairly warm – around 17°c – and strangely not too humid feeling. A few bright pink red henbit and herb-robert flowers next to take their swing at a fresh flowering in the unseasonably warm weather, a red admiral fluttering among the ivy.
A few twisting, burning waves of pain washing over me as the weather changed, and some lingering fatigue, but not the continuing bout of post-exertional malaise I was concerned about – sees like this time, through a combination of luxk and skill, my balance of energy use worked out okay. I ended up feeling comfortable to go again, with a similar modus operandi, very cautious and technical, no randori or heavy drilling, just polishing my grading skills. This still isn’t sustainable for long, but maybe a few more sessions will get me close to where zi want to be.
May we find a sense of agency and confidence in our ability to take on challenges, succeed or fail, today!
