Goodnight friends! A little cooler than yesterday, and more feathery cloud cover softening the white glare of the sun, but still with that fresh openness that feels most like an imagined summer. Thistledown lifts on the sighing breeze like a snowfall in reverse, willow leaves shimmer bwtween green and fishscale silver. Noxious gem-bright spikes of Lords-and-ladies berries burst up among beds of purplish dried out garlic mustard.

A little exercise wore me out much faster than I’d hoped, and feeling slightly out of condition in general. Able to do bits of drawing and writing at least, though nothing sustained, and managed to talk with a few folks online. A small steps day, and a fairly contented one.

May we find opportunities to teach and to learn today!
