Good evening friends! Trending slightly warmer day by day, though still thickly damp and overcast. The tingling suggestion of rain still hangs in the air, caught at the uncomfortable hinge point between clammy and muggy. Already there’s a savoury, acid vegetable pungency in the air as the first glossy shoots of wild garlic surge upward through wet riverside loam. Buds burst open and catkins thicken into strange, urgent animal forms and colours.
Easier to get going and accomplish my basic goals today, though my energy flagged quite fast and initial hopes of left-over strength for creativity faded away. Generally I feel like things might be getting better for me as the weather warms.
