Goodnight friends! Chillier and brisker, around 13°c but feeling colder and sharper. A seething shiver and rattle in the branches, a few late-falling linden seeds twirling in wild balletic gyres. Clouds moving rapidly, dissolving and looming in alternate hours, dull and purplish grey or spotlessly sunwashed pale blue. No rain today but the mineral taste still thick on the wind, along with the sweet, faintly foul scent of autumn silage. Broad leathery mushrooms unfold, their caps splitting in scabby rings.

Maybe just as fatigued and leaden feeling today, though the pain at least is more fitful, so there were nice stretches of being able to access a little focus. Some drawing, a nice catch up chat with an old friend, though my ambitions for a little household admin swiftly crumbled, and I needed long, empty hours of dull breathing.

May we find and share care and gentleness in our lives today!
