Goodnight friends! Warmer and brighter, the same drowsy 16°c as yesterday to start but slowly rising to 21°. A similar feeling of tense, prickly tension even when the sky was relatively clear. Wide bright blue morning sky, becoming filmy and pale over the afternoon but the sun cut through easily, casting long smoky shadows. Dreamy sway of shining buttercups. Multicoloured butterfly flickers, small coppers, another holly blue like an orpahn patch of bright sky. Tallest foxtail stems almost reaching my shoulder. Forecast suggested a threat of rain for a while, and a growing ache in my bones along with bloated, bruised-looking clouds low in the west made that feel very plausible. Instead the murky evening became suddenly cool and full of blustering wind, but remained dry.
Slept better and felt fairly energetic in the morning, took a walk and exercised a little before doing a bit more writing and drawing – the TTRPG is still a nice consistent project to work on and develop. Crashed, or probably rather sagged, later in the day, used up my energy and the grinding stiff pain in my joints intensified.
