Goodnight friends! A fresh and shivery wind sending tremulous rattles and squeals through the branches again. Clouds roiling overhead in flitting shifts, sometimes dour and heavy, sometimes scraped gauze-thin. Blousy wild primroses tremble, pale cream and pink with little central splashes of gold. Little conical mounds of pale soil turned up as insects get to digging nests. Red mining bee among the grass, a dark triangle crown of three ocelli gleaming like obsidian beads above her burnt orange abdomen.
Woke up very sore again after another restless, painful night, once more needing a few hours to adjust to the aches. Things easier in the afternoon after the clouds opened up a bit, and I took a short walk with my girlfriend and her dog. Then back into project drawing, which is still a pretty effective distraction while my energy lasts.
May we find and share warmth and welcome today!
