Goodnight friends! A little warmer, about 17°c, and a lot greyer and darker of a day. Cloud cover low and thick and heavy, a grimy concrete ceiling. The air constantly prickling with a drifting haze of moisture, sometimes coalescing by sly degrees into coherent drizzle or a swift near-silent sighing curtain of solid rain. Fairy rings of small white mushrooms sprouting everywhere, fresh ivy leaves on questing stalks, while cherry trees are starting to turn firey orange and scarlet.
Ambient pain levels fairly high but at least with the weather steady, settled in for a long gloomy day, its fairly predictable and constant, easier limitations to work around. I winnow down my biggest ambitions for the day, break things into smaller chunks and add more rest time to my plans. Managed an abbreviated walk, some stretches and a little bit of aimless drawing – ended up feeling fairly energetic all things considered.
May we find a sense of safety and stability in our lives today!
