Goodnight friends! Cooled down again, 17°c and feeling colder, the air damp and faintly sour again and the sky a soft, smothering veil of bleeding ink grey. Chill pinpricks of oozing humidity, berries and a few gleaming red ladybirds on the dessicated ox-eye daisies the main spots of colour.

A very heavy, slow morning, body moving with leaden painful deliberation and joints feeling packed with gravel. Gradually eased up a little, but flares repeated throughout the day. Took a walk with my girlfriend and her dog through the churchyard, marvelling at the profusion of fungus. A joy and a relief to see her again, hopefully we’ll get to hang out a bit over the weekend too.

May we find our curiosity and creativity reinvigorated today!
