Goodnight friends! Sparkling droplets of overnight drizzle linger all day in the slowly fading grass but otherwise today was fairly dry and much brighter, thin feathery scrapes of cloud and dissolving contrails in a soft blue sky. Feeling a little unseasonably warm again, a mild 15°c with occasional breathy bustles of soft wind. Trees flush with colour, canopies only thinning slowly for now.
A pretty standard post-activity rest day, exhaustion and a mild general soreness exacerbated by the deep seasonal ache of damp and shifting weather. Mind vague and muddled, waves of pain often scattering my thoughts. Attempts at drawing or writing sputtered out quickly, and I ended up having to just take resting pretty seriously.
May we find tranquility and a sense of acceptance in our lives today!
