Goodnight friends! Still warm, and still not very blue. The omnipresent clouds were thinner and paler though, enough openness and light faintly floral breeze to give the day a less damp, overbearing character. Every buttercup and dandelion was the yellow throne for a rummaging enameled insect, roving ants and glossy humped ladybirds trundling diligently through the leafscape. Ornamental plums and cherries festooned with frothy fist-sized clumps of sugary pink and purple blossoms.
I think making a mild step forward sleep- and energy-wise, managed to sleep a little more and feel a bit more focussed and coherent, but things like eating and getting dressed still left me with a mild, cobwebby malaise that took a long time to shift. Hopefully I can keep going with this upward trajectory, slow and steady as needs be. Unsure if there’s anything particular giving me this feeling of a mini crash, but patience is what will see me through it regardless.
May we find and grant each other grace, gentleness and compassion today!
