Goodnight friends! Dull but fairly dry and warm, about 14°c, soft swirling grey sky like dilute ink stirred with a brush, thin white seams of light breaking through. Mottled sticky white globs of slime moulds cling to the grass. Soft warbling chatter of goldfinches high up in the branches of a poplar, blood red face and the heavy triangular silhouette of their beaks identifiable even in a blur a few pixels high, and the musical rattle of a flight of starlings on the arms of the church spire’s weather cock.
Felt much better today after the most sleep I tgink I’ve had in a few weeks, some dizziness to start but quickly dissipating and only a few twisting creaks of joint pain. Stretched cautiously, waiting for a sudden crash, but energy stayed even and easily manageable. I took on judo, but paced myself carefully and sat out of anything that felt too intense.
May we find a refreshed sense of wonder and gratitude for the world around us today!
