Goodnight friends! Feeling cool and sharp and Autumnal today, a mostly clear and crisp 12°c with an expansive sky of often dark but swiftly moving clouds and harsh metallic glinting sunlight. Spots of pink and purple, crimson and pale yellow beginning to fleck the carpets of dew-wet shining crane’s-bill leaves, sycamores and lindens starting to glow, more gold than green now.

Some fairly mild exhaustion and malaise, and a few painful morning hours, feeling stuck with sore, grinding joints. The crash doesn’t feel quite avoided yet, given the way it sometimes comes fully due after a day or two delay, but so far the signs are still encouraging that my current level of exercise isn’t having unmanageable short term consequences. Mostly committed to resting and loafing around today, not moving much or doing much thinking at all until afternoon.

May we find peace and patience today!

Photo of late afternoon light falling through layers of spiderweb woven in the crook of a cruciform gravestone of dark polished stone, threads lit up pale gold with a few strands taking on a luminous prismatic quality, struck at the perfect angle to slightly refract the light.
