Goodnight friends! Another cold-feeling and breezy day, though the pattern was reversed from a dark start and a bright afternoon to a gold-lit blue morning that was gradually smothered by clouds gathering, thickening and darkening. Hoverflies hummed and sparkled, gathering around walls of flowering ivy, chickweed and bittercress amd yarrow enjoying their brief extra chance for tiny white florets to bloom.
Sleep particularly haywire as overnight temperatures are dropping more than daytime, and fitful drizzle returned after dark. A lot of discomfort and half-waking jolts of pain. Slow and dazed morning, but maybe thanks to having done a little mobility work every day this week, as I woke up my body’s protests softened over a few hours and by afternoon I felt confident taking a short work and preparing for judo. More technical syllabus stuff, which is fortunately easier to manage energy-wise and always enriching, with so many perspectives and details contained in each technique.
May we allow ourselves to change and grow today!
