Goodnight friends! Just a little warmer, about 25°c, bit a much more overbearing feeling of stuffy heat below layer on layer of filmy white cloud, building slowly up to diffuse opacity with occasional flashes of dazzling sipvery sunlight. Below, the spiky yellow-flowering gorse bushes are tented over with layers on layer of filmy white pavilions, huge ghostly constructions of gossamer spider silk. Patches of soft purple heather, spiky green sweet chestnuts swelling as their lax, exhausted tendril flowers fall.

Some fatigue still lingering, I think would be much more manageable if it wasn’t compounded by poor sleep and the squeezing .grinding pressure of the humid hazy atmosphere. I got quite a lot done in short bursts of energy. Some drawing, a lovely walk with my girlfriend and her dog in the park, some household admin, tidying and food prep. Emptied out my stamina fairly easily with all those small activities, and couldn’t do much but sit still from mid-afternoon on.

May we find confidence to meet new challenges today!
