Goodnight friends! A little cloud cover, mostly a stippling of white carp scales, but it doesn’t seem to have brought much but some extra afternoon humidity. Peaking at 34°c, and still 20°c in the depths of the night. Hawthorn berries darkening, wild apples the size of a thumb-pad starting to turn a dusty pink on the branch. Ragged-looking hogweed umbels and feathery-leaved yarrow opening up in the shade.

Muscles gradually easing up, which it at least helped by the warmth – bit much else is. Fairly restful today, some continuing hazy insomnia from the heat. Did some slow stretching, parallel playing with a friend through videochat.
Even those slow and gentle stretches made sweat prickle up like gooseflesh on my skin.

May we find delicacy and thoughtful tenderness in our lives today!
