Goodnight friends! About the same temperature as yesterday, but for most of the day the sky was much clearer, long clear rays of sharp sunlight slipping through the whispery rustling linden leaves, brushing warmth against my brow. Extravagant splashes of garden colour from azaleas, purple aliums, huge pleated ornamental poppies and california blueblossoms. Parades of ants along twining gangways of vetch threaded between the foxtails, the air sweet with mown grass and birdsong.

Felt a little drained today. It was cold overnight and I slept fitfully, on top of having spent a fair amount of time mentally active the past few days, doing crafts during my post-exercise recovery period. Still not a strong ‘crashing’ feeling, more of a sagging, leaden deflation over the day without ever really gaining a feeling of wakefulness or momentum. Mostly just rest and trying to relax, should be able to enjoy another day of the same tomorrow.

May we greet the world with a sense of delight and curiosity today!
