Goodnight friends! Around 13°c at the warmest, and continuing fickle flashes of light rain between scudding spotlights of summer warmth sweeping by overhead, casting crisp, flickering shadows of birds in flight across swaying grass. Lawns and pavements littered with the pale green fragments of spent sycamore-maple flowers. Indoors, a single bead of shining sap clings to the white shell of a newly opened peace lily flower.
Muscles still aching quite a bit and a leaden, dragging weight of fatigue, but no huge delayed crash feeling like I’ve been hit hard in the chest. Relaxed most of the morning with a short and tentative walk before lunch. Then more crafts in the afternoon, chatting on the phone with a friend while slowly finishing off the tokens and clocks I’m making for the TTRPG group.
May we find moments of joy and gratitude in our lives today!
