Goodnight friends! Cooler, around 14°c for much of the day, bur feeling warmer and dryer with the sun hot and fierce in the blue above low-lying clouds, a faintly gritty dry-earth scent on the breeze. Canopies all filled in, traceries of gold and azure among the green and polished buttercups sparking below where leaves are thinnest.

Did some simple crafting in the evening, making progress indicators for my TTRPG group from paper plates and split pins. The results are always a little frustrating for me – I enjoy doing simple paper arts and crafts like this, assembling nets etc, but my poor working memory fails me when I try to follow mutli-step processes, and as my stamina flags so does my desire to do things slowly and carefully. I end up making a slapdash effort to finish rather than be left with a half-compeleted project that might be stalled forever because I totally lost track of what I was doing. This time, as many others, I’m left with a somewhat ugly and sloppy result. I think it will do the job, at least.

May we find a sense of connection and cmmunity today!
