Goodnight friends! A wider and less overcast sky, clouds but often very light and filmy, though again humidity settling in over the afternoon and a lowering threat of rain overnight. Mouse-ear cress rising up among the grass with its spindly swaying stems and tiny white flecks of flowers, larger clusters of garlic mustard coming into bloom too. Icy, extravagant rhododendrons with throats leoparded yellow, all overseen by constant flurrying of birds. Lavender grey pigeons and golf-ball sized robins, bugling blackbirds, all so concerned with staking their claims they barely notice a human until we’re almost rubbing shoulders and they explode in ungainly surprise out of the ivy and hawthorn.
I think I’m feeling better overall today, the swollen pain in my throat and armpits more diffuse and less onnipresemt, rising and dissipating in slow waves. I can think a little more clearly too, enough to do a few small household tasks and some drawing. Some heavy fatigue and malaise settling in over the evening, but as with the last few days hopefully I can use that as pressure to actually try for my best impression of some decent sleep.

May we find renewed confidence in our ability to learn and grow today!
