Goodnight friends! Warming up significantly today, up to around 9°c and consistently dry through the daylight hours, bright white undulating carp scale clouds. Wind harsh and blustery again. Meadow buttercups like shallow dishes brimming over with sunlight, spike leaves of reflexed stonecrop stiffening, regaining some of their vivid red hue. Stop-start motor drone of bees and burbling chatter of thrushes. Sky grew murky over the evening, and some light drizzle after dark.
Woke early, some pangs of icy stiffness still in my joints that never quite left. Did some little bits of housework and get myself moving a little. After a walk and a recovery period, managed to fairly happily tie myself up with my current project for the rest of the day, alternating dazed periods of rest with bouts of research and writing and drawing.
May we recognise and accept our need to change and grow today!
