Goodnight friends! Morning clear and washed over by a broad white haze of sunlight, ground starry with daisies and cobwebbed over by indigo shadows. Flutter and flash of butterflies, robins bouncing from branch to branch with rubber ball energy. Afternoon greyed over, fell into thin clammy hissing rain, and then cleared, several times over.
A few successful days in a row now of being able to feel drowsy, and even get some sleep, before the small hours. It’s not a panacea of course – overnight damp, and today’s indecisive weather, made today a bit more painful and sluggish, but I was still about to do a few smatterings of creative work and overall I still feel like I’m getting somewhere.
