Goodnight friends! Dazzling and chilly, the wild gnawing spring wind is still intent on dragging squirming grey fronts of cloud across the startling azure sky, wringing them out in brief hard flurries of rain. The dainty little white hawthorns and pink petticoat swathes of ornamental cherry blossom shudder and bounce and loose petals, the sweetness of their sun-warmed fragrance fleeting on the breeze.
A few specific twinges in my neck and back, and a few new little dirty yellow dapples of bruising, both courtesy from a particularly high intensity training partner at judo – both records of being able to exercise and paradoxical signs for me of agency over my own body. Apart from that I feel relatively well recovered considering the fitful weather, having managed to sleep fairly long and well and spent a long time resting over the day.
May we find moments of peace and gentleness today!
