Goodnight friends! Bright and expansive today after a few clinging grey morning hours, clear and dazzling skies dried out and blanched pale by a broad white gold bloom of sunlight. Alder branch shade wavers blackly on sparkling jade green water, a cormorant taking flight like a patch of leafy shadow peeling itself up from the surface.
Lingering heaviness, partly from exercise still and partly from another broken night’s sleep of stuffiness and splotchy rain. A very gradual day, but built up over the afternoon to some writing and a long walk around the reservoir.
May we find time and space for pleasureable moments of purposeless stillness and relaxation today!
