Goodnight friends! Mostly clear and hinting at being properly cold thanks to a blustering, pressing stone-flavoured wind that is very temporarily shunting clouds along too quickly to let them rain.
I think the first flat viewing went well. Naturally enough when I took a walk a few hours before I was focussed on a desire to impress on my unreliable memory as much as I can the sensations of the area, the particular trees and brooks I admire. I have no idea where exactly I’ll end up next – it’s tricky finding properties that are close to transport links and local shops, without internal or external staircases – whether it’ll be better or worse in any of a myriad different ways, but at least I have the time and space to recognise the beauty I have now, and that I’ll miss it.
May we find and nurture gentleness and patience within and around us today!
