Goodnight friends! A falsely promising start of strewn white popcorn clouds. Over the morning the sky thickened and darkened again, and a swollen sticky feeling of damp that inevitably let to rain. Grey pattering drizzle that picked up to a harsh rattle as a cold wind picked up. Piles of leaves become a brown slippery mush, lawson’s cypress gleam faintly, a silver button raindrop at the intersection of every scale.
Usual fatigue and sore muscles, hitting harder the damper and colder the weather gets. Still bleary with poor sleep too, hard to do too much to mitigate in the damp. Recovering, trying to keep a balance of rest and enough moment to maintain some connection with my body.
May we find a renewed sense of delight and awe at the world around us today!
